Atlantic College

We would like to raise money to provide funds for a poly tunnel and the other infra-structure that would enable Atlantic College's students to learn to grow more of their own food. Apprenticeship scheme

Intensive farming has led to a huge decrease in the number of farms, farm workers and farm incomes. In 1900 40% of the British population worked in careers on the land involved in food production; today the figure is less than 1%. The apprenticeship scheme has been set up to enable young people to learn the skills and knowledge to support themselves and their populations in a sustainable way. Read more...
